🇰🇵 27 July – Victory Day in the DPRK 🇰🇵

7.27 marks the anniversary of the signing of the armistice of the Korean War 🕊️ and is celebrated in the DPRK as Victory Day 🏅. In these photos, we see university students 🎓 gathering for mass dances 💃🕺, where hundreds of them perform in perfect synchronisation 🔄.

Foreign visitors are warmly welcomed to join in the fun 🎉 and dance alongside locals — a unique opportunity to experience one of the DPRK’s most iconic public celebrations first-hand. These dances are usually carried out by university students or organised work units 🏢.
