🇺🇸 Officially, chamois season is underway in our French-side hunting areas.

Two days of hunting in which three chamois were taken in truly wild and challenging terrain, ideal for those who appreciate pure mountain hunting with no guarantees.

Good density and some truly big animals, which are also the most elusive.

On this occasion, J.A. took this fine male after mistakenly selecting him from a group that included a real giant. Things happen in the heat of the moment! Nevertheless, a good chamois for a true mountain hunter. Congratulations!

🇪🇸 Oficialmente, abierta la temporada de sarrios en nuestras zonas de la cara francesa.

Dos días de caza en los que pudieron hacerse con tres ejemplares en un cazadero realmente salvaje y complicado, ideal para los amantes de la caza pura y sin garantías.

Buena densidad y animales muy grandes que, a su vez, son los más esquivos.

En esta ocasión, J.A. se hizo con este buen macho al seleccionar por error al más pequeño del grupo, donde había un verdadero gigante. ¡Errores del directo! Aun así, un buen sarrio para un buen cazador de montaña. ¡Enhorabuena!

Gracias a nuestros guías y equipo, que siempre dan lo mejor de sí mismos buscando la satisfacción del cliente.

🇺🇸 A perfect 200-meter shot on a representative Beceite ibex. 🐐

Severely affected by mange, we decided to harvest this animal due to the advanced state of the disease.

It’s heartbreaking to see how populations have been decimated and how many animals are found in such poor condition. This makes it increasingly difficult to find mature males carrying great trophies.

The coming weeks are all about male ibex hunts, with several exciting outings ahead. We’ll be combining them with chamois, fallow deer, mouflon and other hunting trips abroad. A busy season lies ahead! 🏔️

🇪🇸 Lance perfecto a 200 metros sobre un macho representativo de Beceite. 🐐

Muy afectado por la sarna, decidimos abatirlo debido al estado tan avanzado en el que se encontraba.

Es una lástima ver cómo se han diezmado las poblaciones y cómo cada vez encontramos más animales en pésimas condiciones. Una situación que dificulta encontrar machos adultos con grandes trofeos y muchos años.

Ahora empezamos a tope con los machos durante las próximas semanas, con unas cuantas cacerías divertidas por delante que iremos combinando con rebecos, gamos, muflones y otros viajes al extranjero. ¡Se vienen meses intensos! 🏔️

🇺🇸 One of the last stags of the rutting season 🦌

A short and quiet evening, but making the most of the last light, we managed to take this beautiful stag as he came out of the oak forest roaring to his group of five hinds.

We slowly closed the distance until we were just 60 metres away, allowing us to take the shot. Despite a good hit, the stag ran off strongly, so we decided to leave him to rest.

The following morning, the dogs did their job and found him without too much trouble, around 150 metres from where the shot was taken.

A beautiful hunt to round off the rutting season! 🍂

🇪🇸 Uno de los últimos de esta berrea 🦌

Una tarde sosa y corta, pero aprovechando las últimas luces conseguimos tirar este bonito venado, que salía del robledal berreando a su harén de cinco hembras.

Fuimos recortando distancia hasta colocarnos a escasos 60 metros, donde pudimos ejecutar el lance. Tras un buen tiro, el venado se fue muy entero, así que tocó dejarlo reposar.

A la mañana siguiente, los perros hicieron su trabajo y dieron con él sin demasiada complicación, a unos 150 metros del tiro.

¡Un bonito lance para cerrar la berrea! 🍂

🇺🇸We’re kicking things off with chamois! 🏔️🦌

We have many months of hunting ahead of us—in both the Pyrenees and the Alps—and it’s a type of hunting we absolutely love.

We’re looking back at this beautiful chamois hunt from the end of last season with our friend Gonzalo. After a quick and tricky encounter, he pulled off a magnificent shot from about 200 meters away at an extreme angle, capping off a hunt that was demanding from start to finish. 💥

It’s rugged terrain with a healthy population of animals, but the conditions are truly tough; every stalk is a challenge, and the animals are incredibly wary and elusive.

We hope to share plenty of results with you very soon.
We have months of epic mountain hunting ahead! 💪🏼🏔️

¡Empezamos con los rebecos! 🏔️🦌

Se vienen muchos meses de caza por delante, tanto en los Pirineos como en los Alpes, y es una modalidad que nos encanta.

Recordamos esta bonita sarria de final de la temporada pasada junto a nuestro amigo Gonzalo. Tras un lance rápido y complicado, consiguió ejecutar un precioso disparo a unos 200 metros, con un ángulo extremo, poniendo el broche a una cacería exigente de principio a fin.💥

Terrenos duros, con buena densidad de animales, pero realmente exigentes, donde cada lance supone un reto y los animales tienen mucha defensa.

Esperamos poder compartir muchos resultados con vosotros muy pronto. ¡Se vienen unos meses cargados de grandes jornadas de montaña! 💪🏼🏔️

🇺🇸 After missing him at the beginning of the rut, we saw him again, but he was becoming increasingly difficult to find and less and less present in the upper heather-covered areas.

When we had already given him up for lost this season, imagining he would never leave the immense oak forests, we made one last climb into the hunting area.

Mid-morning, a distant roar encouraged us to take a look into the last valley, although without much faith. And there he was, more than 1 km from his usual area, calm and alone, without a hind in sight.

There was no hesitation. We found a solid rest and, when he finally crossed broadside, he fell right on his shadow… a huge surprise to close an incredible mountain rut.

A tough and demanding rut, but with exceptional quality, hunting in truly wild and authentic terrain.

Already looking forward to the 2027 rut in some of the best mountain areas, while we continue hunting a few more stags further inland.

🇪🇸 Tras haberle fallado al inicio de la berrea, le volvimos a ver, pero cada vez estaba más complicado y menos presente en los brezales de arriba.

Cuando ya le dábamos por perdido esta temporada, imaginando que no saldría de los inmensos robledales, hicimos una última subida a la zona de caza.

A media mañana, un bramido suelto nos animó a asomarnos al último valle, aunque sin mucha fe. Y ahí estaba, a más de 1 km de su zona habitual, tranquilo y sin ciervas.

No hubo dudas. Buscar un buen apoyo y, cuando finalmente se cruzó de costado, cayó sobre su sombra… ¡sorpresa mayúscula para cerrar una berrea de montaña increíble!

Una berrea dura y exigente, pero con una calidad altísima, cazando en terrenos salvajes y auténticos.

Ilusionados ya con la berrea de 2027 en las mejores zonas de montaña, seguimos cazando algunos venados más en el interior.

🇺🇸 Despite the unusual rut this year, many hours spent in the field are slowly revealing the true giants of the mountains. 🦌

A beautiful morning, with some rain that got a few stags moving. We passed on several because they were still too young and continued on, barranco after barranco, until we spotted a truly big stag that gave us no shot.

Shortly afterwards, another stag with a very promising look appeared behind a hind, which started to lead him away. Without hesitation, we encouraged the hunter to try to take him.

The shot was taken at around 150 metres, slightly forward, which meant we had to follow him for a while before finally being able to finish the job.

When we reached him, he surprised us all. More than a metre long and incredibly thick from top to bottom. An absolute giant. 🦌🔥

Congratulations to the hunter!

We’re making the most of these final days of the rut, with a week packed with outings. Soon, we’ll be heading into the mountains for chamois, alpine hunts and mature males. ⛰️🦌

🇪🇸 Pese a la berrea rara de este año, con muchas horas de campo se van sacando los grandes del monte. 🦌

Mañana bonita, con algo de agua que animó a unos cuantos venaos. Descartamos varios por juventud y seguimos avanzando barranco tras barranco, hasta que vemos uno realmente grande que no nos da opción de tiro.

Acto seguido aparece otro venado, con muy buena pinta, detrás de una cierva que poco a poco se lo empieza a llevar. Sin dudarlo, animamos al cazador a intentar quedarse con él.

Tiro a unos 150 metros, un poco delantero, que nos hizo seguirle durante un rato hasta poder rematarlo.

Al llegar a él nos sorprendió a todos. Más de un metro de largo y exageradamente grueso de abajo a arriba. Un auténtico gigante. 🦌🔥

¡Enhorabuena al cazador!

Seguimos aprovechando estos últimos coletazos de la berrea, con una semana cargada de salidas y, en breve, arrancamos con sarrios, alpinos y machos. ⛰️🦌

Metidos con la ronca. Tras ver un gamo bueno que no dio opción y algún joven más, avanzamos unos barrancos más adelante.👈🏼

La tarde, animada y con alguna lluvia, 🌧️pintaba bien. Y en esa cañada vemos subir dos gamos en nuestra dirección, ambos grandes. Empiezan a pegarse a escasos 60 metros de nosotros, se separan y, antes de volver a engancharse, Diego resuelve a la perfección, dejando al grande sobre su sombra.

Cacería preciosa, unos animales de altísima calidad y un sitio privilegiado. 🦌

Muy llamativo lo cascado que estaba ya este gran gamo, fruto de las constantes disputas entre ellos en estas fechas.💥

Wild, authentic and unpredictable hunting. Full days spent among mountains and shelters, with long waits and endless hours in the field, until each of them finally got their mountain stag.

🇺🇸 After several outings and more than 8 hours waiting on the same spot since early morning, one of the big stags finally made the mistake of coming out to stretch his legs. 🦌

Tough days during the rut, countless hours, heat and a lot of patience… but moments like this make every single hour worth it.

Huge congratulations to our friend and hunter for executing a perfect shot at 340 metres and, above all, for having the patience to hold on despite the heat.

So much merit for a once-in-a-lifetime stag. 🙌🏽

🇪🇸 Después de varias salidas y más de 8 horas esperando en la misma piedra desde primera hora de la mañana, uno de los grandes cometió el error de salir a desperezarse. 🦌

Días duros de berrea, muchas horas, calor y una paciencia que poco a poco va pesando… pero momentos como este hacen que todo haya valido la pena.

Enorme nuestro amigo y cazador, por ejecutar un lance perfecto a 340 metros y, sobre todo, por la inmensa paciencia de aguantar hasta el final pese al calor.

Muchísimo mérito para un venao de una vez en la vida. 🙌🏽
