“Has to be the pool party! Who knew it rains in Gran Canaria? And who knew it would make poolside games even more hilarious?!”

Would you recommend CanCanaria Adventure Week to a friend, and why?
“Hell yes. I find myself telling friends I make on UK trips all the time - bypassing the January blues makes for a social and active start to the new year ahead.”

“Wholesome activities, new friendships, pushing boundaries, discovering myself, lasting memories.”

We asked Alex what his favourite activity was during Can Canaria Adverture Week and it involved wine, food and fit men…

What was your most memorable experience during Adventure Week and why did it stand out?
“The highlight of the week for me, was sampling (a lot) the “jamón ibérico” hand sliced by a local ‘cortador de jamón’ was a show in itself. Paired with some delicious Canarian wines. It was possible to choose three totally different wines from the islands, to keep the gastronomy local. The portions were generous and almost unlimited! Hosted by the wonderful Matt and Victor at Bar Junior, all a winning combo for me!”

Can you sum up what Cancanaria Adventure Week means to you in less than 10 words?

“CanCanaria creates special, unforgettable moments with culture, fitness and socials.”

What was your most memorable experience during Adventure Week and why did it stand out?
“I’ve attended three Adventure Weeks and loved them all. My stand out memory from 2025 was the Tunte Hike - a great bunch of guys hiking through beautiful pine forests and scenic views over the island. The island offers so much more than people imagine.”

Would you recommend CanCanaria Adventure Week to a friend, and why?
“I thoroughly recommend Adventure Week to anyone - lots of fun social times blended with great outdoor activities. January is the perfect time to visit the island, escaping the winter blues.”

“Most memorable experience was tandem sky diving with iJump - something I’d never done before and never thought I could do! A bucket list activity.”

“Definitely recommend CanCanaria Adventure Week - there are lots of exciting activities you may not have ever tried before or not done them in a beautiful warm climate - things to suit all ages and abilities so you don’t have to be young and super fit!
