If you’re dreaming of a journey that captures the very best of Kenya’s classic safari experience, this one sets the tone from the very first moment. It begins with two nights in Nairobi, giving you time to ease into the rhythm of Kenya with a thoughtfully curated half day tour that brings you face to face with some of the country’s most beloved conservation stories.
Step into the world of Karen Blixen at her beautifully preserved home, where Out of Africa was brought to life and the city fades into a slower, more nostalgic pace. Then it’s on to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where orphaned elephants steal the show as they feed, play and edge closer to their return to the wild. The experience finishes at the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll meet Rothschild giraffes at eye level, offering a playful and surprisingly memorable start to your safari adventure.
From here, the scenery shifts dramatically as you journey into the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru delivers that first proper safari wow moment, with shimmering shores dotted with flamingos, pelicans and storks, and game drives that introduce you to lion, giraffe and the rare privilege of spotting both black and white rhino.
Then the pace builds as you continue to the world famous Maasai Mara. This is safari at its most iconic. Endless golden plains, vast skies and wildlife encounters that feel straight out of a documentary.
