Sometimes the best part of Valencia is outside the city.

For 5€, you can take a traditional boat across Albufera at sunset, surrounded by rice fields and old fishermen’s routes that have existed for generations 🌾

It’s calm, slow, quiet… and honestly one of the most beautiful evenings you can have near Valencia.

Only 30 minutes from the center, but it feels like another world ✨

Fallas 2026

2 weeks at Las Fallas in Valencia. And I'm leaving with ringing ears, smoke in my clothes, and something I didn't expect : genuine emotion.

Every day at 2pm, the entire city stops for the mascletà. Not music. Just pure, organised chaos of explosions that you feel in your chest before you hear them.

Then there's the ninots, giant satirical sculptures, months of work, lining every street. You spend days admiring them.
And on the last night, they burn everything.

The crema. Thousands of people, flames 10 metres high, and total silence just before it starts. That moment? Unexplainable.

Valencia in March isn't a festival. It's a collective act of beautiful, deliberate destruction. 🔥
