These legends flew 30 hours all the way from New Zealand up here to Finnish Lapland to come and see the northern lights!

After a while of chasing clear sky, taking questionable backroads and trying to find a nice open area, Lady Aurora decided to put on a lovely little show for them. Old mate Milky Way was at his absolute best as well!

Thankfully I woke up quite randomly to see that the skies were clearing up and spotted some northern lights from inside the igloo! Had to race outside to capture this timelapse and thankfully Mother Nature left a nice gap of clear skies for me to capture a little bit of her finest work 🥲

Unreal!!!! It took a very long time for this northern lights substorm to pop in Rovaniemi but it finally kicked off just around 1am 🤯
