The picture is taken by the Santa's Cabin in Levi, close to the West Point slopes. Very easy to reach with skis or snowboard from the slope W3. There is also a groomed, signposted winter walking trail from the Gondola 2000 top station to the Santa's Cabin. It's about 15 min walk, mostly downhill, and the same way back uphill.
This cabin was built as a movie set, for the Finnish movie Christmas Story (Joulutarina, 2007). The movie tells about Santa's childhood and how he became Santa. It's a very touching and beautiful story, and I can warmly recommend watching it. It's dubbed and subtitled in many languages.
For many years the cabin was empty, but a couple of years ago Levi Ski Resort decorated it very nicely, and now there is even a real fireplace in it. So it's definitely a place worth visiting and peeking in through the window ✨🎄
