From humble beginning : A Decade of Resilience.
10 years ago today, i took a leap and registered my own business, marking a chapter in my entrepreneurial journey. Before this, i spent over 3 years navigating the ups and down of partnership, learning the ropes and soaking up knowledge like a sponge.
When my business came to existence, they was No investors, No backing, No safety, No Net. Family and friends assume starting from scratch wouldnt work as it is tough, offcourse it's tough lols. I thought otherwise and it was the best thing that happened to me. I had to trust my gut, be scrimpy with resources and get scrappy to make things work.
As it starts, it was a blur of trial and error, but every tiny win fueled the fire. Two years in, confidence started to kick in, Business was no longer surviving, Business was thriving.
Today, Im humbled to say as an SME sole proprietor, ownership, Iam deeply honoured to be awarded women entreprenure year 2020, receiving a recongnition certificate from the Prime ministers office has been surreal moment for me. Its not just a win for me but for every women whos dared to dream big. And to everyone chasing their dreams, trust the process, trust yourself and take those baby steps.
