Alsace has so much to offer but you need a strategy. There’s so much scenery and natural sites, or cultural monuments and museums and of course lots of wine and regional delicacies. For us, we prefer to travel the smaller villages on the wine trail and leave the souvenir shops, creative pretzel flavors and the hoards of people in Colmar behind. One must plan accordingly.
