It’s been a successful and beautiful summer this year. Our first season open has seen us meet many great people.
We do have some availability still so if you fancy a break in a beautiful unspoilt part of France 🇫🇷 in our elegant charming gites have a look at our website or check us out on Airbnb or Booking.com. Studio for 1-2 persons has some availability August and September. Maison Marguerite up to 4 persons just two weeks in August no availability left for September.
Possibility of pick up from Poitiers Airport & Station if required.

On my return from a routine trip to our local Mr Bricolage in Montmorillon I was delayed by a mere three hours by a special event! Today local roads closed as the Tour de France Femmes 2025 came by on their fifth leg. Well worth the wait!! www.giteholidaysinfrance.com

Along the banks of the Gartempe River in Saint Savin we attended the Fete du Jardin where more vegetables were purchased for our ever expanding potager 2

Today we attended the annual ‘Brochettes Antinoises’ au bord de la Gartempe. Great to catch up with old friends and acquaintances and enjoy some tasty brochettes.

We have started work on the main house as currently we are enjoying the warmth and comfort of maison Marguerite. But we cannot stay here forever! On our return to La Faye our old salon/tv room had been painted a deep dark and depressing purple. Stephen built the fantastic tongue and groove floor to ceiling wall shelves and we have moved a few of our belongings in. We think it has come up quite well. What do you think?

Just finished installing wifi into Le Studio Gite before arrival of our first guests since the reopening of Gite Holidays In France. Pretty good speed and part of a satellite system suppling internet network to all our Gite’s, Pool and gardens!

Near to our Gites in La Faye is the l'abbaye de Saint-Savin ( a UNESCO world Heritage Site) hosting the largest collection of Romanesque Murals in Europe.

L’abbaye de Saint-Savin abrite le plus grand ensemble de peintures murales romanes en Europe et fête en 2023 son 40ème anniversaire d’inscription sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco.
