HIDDEN GEMS 2026 SCHEDULE – FRIDAY WINE TASTINGS / DEGUSTATIONS DES VINS DE VENDREDI
12 JUNE – CELEBRATE HIDDEN GEMS WINERY TOURS SECOND SEASON!
I’ll be pouring some of my favorites from around Southwest France for you to taste. No guided tasting this time, but I’ll always be happy to talk about the wines. There will be something for everyone, and most definitely some bubbly to kick off 2026 for HGWT.
Price*: 10€ (you’ll get 5€ off as a token of my thanks for your support when you buy 6 or more bottles)
3 JULY – SUMMER WINES
In this guided tasting, you’ll discover wines from Southwest France that are summer-perfect, just waiting for the next canicule, BBQ, garden party, or, OK, just about any day from now until Autumn settles in. These wines were meant to be paired with a bit of heat (both in temperature and in terms of spicy foods) but are delicious enough to hold their own.
Price*: 25€
28 AUGUST – PREMIUM TASTING / FALL PREVIEW + BLIND TASTING
This will be a guided tasting of top-shelf wines suitable for cooler temperatures, “les Cuvées Prestiges” so to speak. We should be seeing some newly released 2025 reds around now.
Price*: 40€
25 SEPTEMBER – OTHER THAN BERGERAC
Have you discovered the intensely dark, fruit-forward Negrette of Fronton? The indigenous Gaillac varietals with fun names like Loin de l’œil? The Russian link to Cahors Malbec? Two hours won’t be long enough to learn about these interesting appellations that also make deliciously more-ish wines, but we will give it a good go in this guided tasting!
Price: 30€
20 NOVEMBER – IT’S THE HOLIDAY SEASON…
And this guided tasting will be in plenty of time to select party-appropriate wines for the season, for whatever holidays party you’ll be going to or hosting.
