There’s a bottle for every season. September has its own🤌🏻

Not the wine you open on a terrace in July. Not the one you pour in December by the fire. Something in between - the last warmth of summer still in the glass, but the first hint of something deeper underneath

This is the month when we stop reaching for rosé and start remembering why we fell in love with red ♥️

What’s your September bottle? 🍷

The most interesting bottle on any wine list is rarely the one everyone knows🤌🏻

It’s the one three pages in. The producer nobody’s heard of. The region that sounds unfamiliar. The vintage that wasn’t supposed to be great - but was

In ten years of doing this, the wines that have surprised us most were never the famous ones
They were the ones we almost skipped

What’s the most unexpected bottle you’ve ever loved? 🍷

What your wine order says about you🍷

«House red, please» - you trust the process and you’re not here to overthink it. Respect 🫡

«Something not too dry» - you know what you like and you’re not apologising for it 👩‍💻

«What do you recommend?» - you’re either very open-minded or very nervous. Both are fine 🫶

«Do you have anything from the Rhône?» - you’ve been down a rabbit hole and you’re not coming back 🤘

«I’ll have what they’re having» - the most underrated order at any table👉

Which one are you? 👇

Sangiovese Grosso. In Montalcino, they call it Brunello🍷

And in Montalcino - unlike anywhere else - it becomes something entirely its own

Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy’s most strictly regulated wines. Minimum 5 years ageing before release. 6 for Riserva

And it cannot be blended - 100% Brunello, always 🤌🏻

Poggio di Sotto, 2013. An estate that works without compromise in one of the most challenging appellations to get right. 2013 gave them the kind of year that rewards patience: slow ripening, high acidity, wines built to last decades

This is the bottle you open in 2035 and understand immediately why you waited🍷

Romanticizing my life, one glass of red at a time🍷🖤

No rush, no noise. Just pure wine aesthetics and a mood that speaks for itself

In 1110, Cistercian monks began building a wall
Not a house. Not a church🍇

A wall around a vineyard🤌🏻
Clos de Vougeot. 50 hectares enclosed by stone - the same stone that stands today. The monks believed this particular piece of land was unlike anything around it. Over 900 years later, nobody has found a reason to disagree

Denis Mortet, 2005. A winemaker who understood this land like few others - and whose wines continue to speak long after he is gone
21 years in the bottle. Some things only get better with silence🍷
