It's well worth the two hour drive from Maison Bijou to climb up La Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe. The view is stunning, even in February! Arcachon is just around the corner, with plenty of restaurants, a beautiful beach and plenty of shopping. A perfect day at the seaside!

Loubès-Bernac has many events throughout the year and this one is always the first of many. The annual banquet des chasseurs is a real eye opener! A great insight into good old fashioned French tradition. Certainly the longest lunch you will ever attend and a wonderful experience.
