When you are in a Vietnamese family, there is a beautiful tradition of burning paper offerings — clothes, shoes, money, gold — all made of paper, to honor your ancestors.

As you burn an item, you say: this is for the grandmother, for the uncle, and so on…
Do you know this tradition?

In this way, the ancestors are happy and receive, through the smoke, these gifts in their own dimension. The connection between the world of the ancestors and the world of the living remains strong and harmonious.
