Le protocole CARE consiste à capturer des post-larves de poissons grâce à des pièges flottants lumineux, pour ensuite les identifier et les relâcher. L'objectif est de suivre l'évolution des populations de poissons à proximité des côtes des îles. Il fait partie des protocoles CAIPIM lancés sur plusieurs sites partenaires d'Initiative PIM, à commencer par l'île du Grand Rouveau!

The CARE protocol involves capturing post-larval fish using illuminated floating traps, then identifying and releasing them. The goal is to monitor changes in fish populations near the islands’ coasts. It is one of the CAIPIM protocols launched at several PIM Initiative partner sites, starting with Grand Rouveau Island!
