From medieval Roquebrune to the Mediterranean… 🏰🌊

Just below the village of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, you’ll find Plage de la Buse, one of my favorite beaches on the French Riviera.

Why do I love it?
💧 A freshwater spring flows into the sea here, keeping the water surprisingly cool — even during this summer heatwave, when the Mediterranean is particularly warm.

🐠 The crystal-clear water is also great for snorkeling, with plenty of fish to spot among the rocks.

And there’s something else I love about this place: it never feels too crowded. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, take a swim and simply enjoy the sea in peace.

If you visit Roquebrune, don’t stop at the village… come down to the sea too. 🌊

What a privilege to attend the presentation of Au fil de l’eau, the new Ellsworth Kelly exhibition at the Fondation Maeght.

Listening to curator Éric de Chassey and Ellsworth Kelly’s widower, Jack Shear, who shared personal memories and intimate stories, made this experience even more meaningful.

A beautiful exhibition exploring Ellsworth Kelly’s lifelong relationship with water, revealing a poetic and deeply personal side of his work.

And with this heatwave, there’s no better time to dive into Au fil de l’eau and enjoy a refreshing artistic escape. 💙🌊
