If you've ever found yourself scrolling through Instagram and all can you see is rows and rows of 'perfect' photos of people travelling well don't worry, because that's definitely not what you're going to find here.I'm a true believer that life is what you make it and although I don't always have the best luck while travelling, it's the thing that fills me with joy. With lots of mistakes, mishaps and chaotic stories behind me, I thought here was the perfect place to share my stories (along with everything I've picked up along the way). You’re probably wondering why you should be taking advice from someone who seems to come across carnage and chaos every time she travels, right? Well, it’s because no matter the situation, things always work out for the best! I used to put so much pressure on travel being perfect that every little mistake would turn my world upside down but now, I embrace the mishaps and turn them into my own little adventures! i’ve been clearing out photos and videos on my phone the last few weeks (i had 14,000 screenshots for no good reason??) and i came across so many photos that i just… never shared.

i think i started to get so in my head about my content being perfect that i forgot that i started my instagram to share what i was doing with the world and to inspire plus size people to travel and make memories. but for some reason if it didn’t fit the grid i’d completely overthink it and by the time it did fit, it felt too late to post. i don’t know why i was so in my head but im glad i don’t feel like that anymore because i have so many photos to share. anyway… here are just a few photos i don’t think i’ve ever shared anywhere other than my stories (if at all)🤭

i get SO many negative comments whenever i post anything that involves me eating food and for a long time, it made me scared to share food in things like daily vlogs etc. no matter what i ate someone would always comment on it, saying things like “she’s lying and definitely didn’t eat a salad” or “of course she had a burger for lunch” and “that was just her first course imagine what else she ate” 🙄

the thing is.. everyone eats. food is an important part of everyone’s life and people are allowed to enjoy it. i travel a lot and for me, food is a way to connect to a destination and see what locals enjoy or how they do things differently. not sharing what i eat would feel like im skipping out on a huge part of my experience and i don’t want to do that anymore. i’m fat, i love food and im going to share it with everyone ❤️
