It is now back to searing hot temperatures in Mayenne after a "cooler" period that was actually quite refreshing. Tourists are still about and possibly making the most of the last days before it's back to school.

It would seem that spring is just around the corner as a few people have been staying with us in order to see what's around us. I am glad to say that several have booked for longer stays in the spring/summer. We have taken some bookings from the UK for people coming for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings on the Normandy coast. We are also well placed for people touring the Chateaux de la Loire as Mayenne is part of the Pays de la Loire. If you have driven a long distance in the UK and then have a long drive ahead of you in Europe we are only one and half hours from St.Malo and about the same from Caen/Ouistreham,so a good spot to get a quiet night's sleep before the next leg of your journey.

Christmas and the New Year have passed and a few bookings are coming in. Could it be the very generous winter discounts that we are offering until March? Our overall review score for 2018 was 9.6 so we must be doing something right!

Although autumn is on us we have had some really nice weather. Today is cold but the sun is glorious and not a cloud to be seen. Good walking weather!

We are still having really good weather. It is a bit cooler than a few months ago but it is not cold by any means. Our late season guests are reaping the benefit of this.

As the end of the summer season approaches business seems to be picking up.
