Enjoy the photos of the Gastronomic Menu (Menu Decouverte) from Restaurant Ecume in Bouin, France. Truly an elegant and tasty event with 8 courses (including gourmandise and amuse bouche).

In the Vendée department of France (start of the 2018 Tour de France http://mygoz2.com/Go2France/France_Regions/france_regions.html), one finds this restaurant right on a main thoroughfare (a small but busy one). Don't be fooled by the exterior. Drive to the ample parking in back and enjoy this Master Restaurateurs creative and delicious dishes.

Brellie is looking forward to visiting this spring one of her favorite hotels in Brittany, Manoir de Rigourdaine in Plouer-sur-Rance (http://www.hotel-rigourdaine.fr/en/). This hotel in Brittany is close to Mont-Saint-Michel, Saint Malo, Dinard, and the medieval city of Dinan. Rooms 12 and 14 are suites with a private terrace. You can see hot air balloons overhead as you sip wine and eat cheese. These suites have a wet bar with a refrigerator. A short walk away is a very old chapel that is classically French in style.
