Guests have use of the gorgeous internal courtyard - perfect for relaxing at any time of day. There is an additional private ensuite double bedroom located on the second floor - it has an ensuite shower room, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. If you wish to hire all of the acommodation together (sleeping a maximum of 8 people) then you can enjoy exclusive use of the courtyard. Free wifi and plenty of local information will help you make the most of your time here. The house has central heating so the apartments are available all year round. I love the soft afternoon light in Apartment One. So calm and so inviting.
This is our first floor apartment, it has one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and this wonderful living space with full kitchen, dining table and lounge area (including sofa bed). Sleeps 3 people max.
This apartment is fully booked until 18th October this year, and for next year there are already 9 weeks booked up. So if you like the look of it, get your reservation in soon!

Right there at the side of the road we found these amazing natural ochre sculptures. Big enough to climb on (and through) but just meters from the road so no hiking required. The Luberon has something interesting around every corner.

The poppies have now given way to the lavender, so I wanted to share one last photo. The enormous swathes of red poppies are a sight to behold - I would say they are just as stunning as the lavender (and the weather not so hot!) - so do come and see them next year!

We've lived here since late 2018 and I'm pretty sure that 2025 is the greenest year we've ever seen. We've certainly had a lot more rain over the winter months and into spring and now we have the most stunningly green countryside we've ever seen. Against that deep blue sky? Perfect!

When you visit, don't miss beautiful Oppède le Vieux. It's a gentle walk up from the carpark to the village, then a hike up to the old chateau above the village - worth it for the scenery and the huge views. On the way back down, you can stop for coffee, ice cream, a drink or even a great lunch in the village. Top tips - wear trainers, take some water, and in summer go early before the heat!

One of the reasons we love this area so much is that it seems like there are always new things to discover. If we get a bit of spare time, we often just hop in the car with some coffee, pick up some pastries along the way, and go for a drive. This time we ended driving just up above Lioux and found this stunning view back down!

Excellent food and a charming atmosphere are always served up at Bar des Amis. Cosy inside, sunny outside, lunch and dinner are always fabulous. Head up to Villars and try it for yourselves....

There's something wonderful about opening the front windows and listening to the town coming to life underneath - the world is going to work and going to the bakery, the shops are opening up and you get to sip your coffee and decide what to do with your day.....
