Getting the birds in at night has become a major operation since all these ducklings 🐥 hatched! Hopefully a bunch of them will be flying off to new homes very soon!

If you're lacking pied Muscovy ducks in your life (point of lay!) Then you know where to find them!

Last night Rohan was toying with something in the grass just before we finished up on the yard. We assumed it was some poor soon-to-be-dead mouse 🐁

A little while later he came trotting into the house with a sizeable lizard 🦎 dangling around his neck!! Apparently he literally bit off more than he could chew & the lizard fought back! It had grabbed a tuft of his fur and wouldn't let go!! I ended up pulling the fur out to get the lizard off the cat 🐈 🫣🤣

Thankfully the lizard was unscathed and released into the polytunnel for safety. Rohan seems unfazed by being rumbled by a reptile - although hopefully he'll stick to the smaller ones in future!!

Un grand merci à tous ceux qui sont venus hier 💗, c'était une journée portes ouvertes fantastique 😀

Je viens d'expliquer sur la page Agneau de Villepôt que j'avais préparé tout un tas d'affiches pour hier, mais le temps n'était pas de la partie pour les coller le long du sentier de la ferme. Je vais donc les mettre ici à la place et vous pourrez les admirer sans avoir à esquiver les éclairs ⚡️🙈😁

I've just explained on the Agneau de Villepôt page that I made a load of posters for yesterday, but the weather didn't play ball for sticking them up on the farm trail. So I'll pop them up here instead & you can enjoy them without having to dodge lightning strikes ⚡️🙈😁
