Very touched to have received this today.
Tighnault is still on the market and, despite lots of viewers, we haven't found anyone yet who we'd like to sell it to and live across the road from. Receiving this makes me question if we ever will have the courage to sell it, as we love looking after our guests.

Beautiful day today for a walk from Invervar to Camusvracken on the south side of the river, then back down the main road.

A difficult decision to make and we're in no rush to sell, but we'll not be taking any bookings for 2025. We've done holiday lets for over 20 years at Tighnault, Invervar, Glenlyon and thank all our guests for staying with us and returning year after year. It's time to retire and to start ticking the bucket list !

That's the holiday let season in full swing. A couple of updates for those of you who stay with us.

The council have announced that the road will be closed for repairs between Bridge of Balgie and Fortingall between 0930 to 1500 Monday to Friday 15th April to 26th April. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

For those of you who book directly with us, full payment must be made before your holiday starts this year. I'm sorry to have to apply this to everyone, but we had one family who stayed with us last August for 2 weeks who did a runner and are still due us well over £1k.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of you back for your annual visit.

The most inspirational guest to have in Tighnault tonight, though she was keen to camp out in the rain and insisted on cooking on her wee gas stove ! I've always wanted to meet Jane Dotchin and it is a privilege to offer her shelter for the night. If you haven't heard of her google 80 year old woman completes annual 600 mile pony trek.
