Unprecedented levels of vandalism - something that Altrincham In Bloom are experiencing this year. Good to see that someone in the House of Lords is batting for us. Oh ok, it was my Mum, but at least policing levels are being raised at the highest levels.

Just on the off chance that anyone fancies a beautiful catered chalet (sleeps 12-14) in sought-after French ski resort Alpe D’Huez for peak skiing week next year (Feb 14-21), I’ve got this one on hold for a short time longer. It’s rated 4.5/5 star and you can fly from anywhere in the UK with transfers included. It’s so close to the slopes and across the road is the Palais des Sports for lots of non-ski activities. You won’t be disappointed as the location is superb and my supplier is outstanding for customer service.

Chalet availability is pretty hard to come by in high season, so if you’d like to fill it with warmth and laughter, speak to me immediately!

The creativity I use as a travel agent is also reflected in my other work interest, as a commercial horticulturalist. This week I’ve been bringing food for the bees to the centre of Altrincham, just outside the Interchange. These railing planters will grow 2 to 3 times as big and bushy, providing much-needed pollen for our little buzzy friends. 🐝

Oh my God, Northern Vietnam is amazing. I’ve visited Hanoi and Halong Bay myself and it’s jaw-droppingly beautiful. This would be a fantastic adventure for those who want memorable experiences rather than two weeks on the same boring beach!
