You could be settling down, nice and cosy in front of the open fire, while enjoying fantastic views across the Irish Sea and maybe even see a dolphin! A unique opportunity to stay in a Lighthouse Keepers cottage in a working Lighthouse. Lovingly restored and renovated to incorporate a mix of traditional and modern features giving a contemporary atmosphere with all the creature comforts. There are
breathtaking views from the Keeper’s cottages whatever the weather. From the front door you can walk around the headland to the lighthouse or follow the path to one of Anglesey’s prettiest bays at Llaneilian with its sandy beach and ancient church. The cottages are situated on a headland, which is a veritable haven for wildlife. Frequently porpoises, dolphins and seals can be seen from the headland, even from the cottage window! Also a large number of seabirds live on or migrate past the headland, which is also a nesting site for the rare Chough. There is no longer an operational fog horn at the lighthouse, it was switched off late in 2012.
