This is a really big , really cheeky ask but if you don’t ask you don’t know 😇

So our Halloween event started off in 2021, it was just me behind the counter giving away free ice creams to children in fancy dress and cost me maybe a hundred quid or so.

The Halloween event has grown so much that last year the queue was down the high street and around the corner of Quebec Road!! Which is absolutely wild and I love it!

I love how it’s got so big! 2025 was absolutely huge!! We had a magician, dancers, singers, stilt walkers, music.. but the bigger it is, the bigger the queue meaning the more staff. What used to be something I did alone now costs me 6 wages for the evening, costs me all entertainment, decoration costs and costs of giving away 100s of free ice creams.. And it’s only going to get bigger!!!!

Halloween now costs in the £1000s for me to put on. I love giving back to the community but I just wondered if there is anyone else that would like to give back too (just to clarify I don’t make any money from it, because we give everything away for free!! however it is great exposure, dare I claim one of the busiest evening events in town) last year people were gathering just to watch!!

I am not asking for money. I am just wondering are there any entertainers that maybe would like to give back to the community and children of Mablethorpe and would like to join in? Either for a reduced rate or out of the goodness of their heart 🫶🏻😇🥹

In return I can advertise you on our social media , you could hand out leaflets, use it as an advertisement and exposure.

As I expect the queue to be even longer this year the costs again will be even bigger. Please do not get me wrong i absolutely love it but I really have created a monster here 😂😂 and I am just wondering if any entertainers can help me out a little! If you can please email me [email protected] 💕

🎪 It’s happening! Our first ever Creekside music weekend🎶

Ever since we opened Creekside, we’ve wanted to put on a relaxed end-of-season festival weekend for our campers – and this year we’re making it happen!

Join us Friday 4th – Sunday 6th September for live music, great food, a bar, wood-fired sauna, craft activities, stalls, petting goats, a charity raffle and more.

OPEN DAY!

Lincolnshire Branch of Butterfly Conservation will be having their open day on Sunday 9th August 2026, from 10:30am to 16:00pm at Sea View Nursery, Sea View Road, LN11 7TR, on the beautiful reserve of Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes (part of the Lincolnshire Coronation Coast National Nature Reserve.)

Butterfly walks will be at 11:00am and 13:00pm.

All welcome! You do not need to be a member of Butterfly Conservation.

This may spring bank holiday, Saturday, the 23rd of May, we are going to have a village fete.

We shall have traditional games, including the coconut shy,hook-a-duck, tombola and splat the rat. Also table Top stalls.

There will be a barbecue during the afternoon, a cake stall and ice cream creams from Farmer Browns

Joining us in the afternoon, we will have the Alford Morris group for a demonstration and some audience participation!

There will be music in the afternoon from our resident DJ and in the evening a live singer

There will be a raffle and later in the evening before the singer an auction.

This will all take place at the back of the Creek Tavern, Anderby Creek, during the afternoon and in the Tavern later in the evening. The creek Tavern will be open from 2 pm.
