One of our favourite corners of the shop is where the Doosan Lynx 2100LM sits. 👀

When our engineer meets the XYZ 500 LR, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 is what happens. 🤩

This is the first part out of a batch of 150 stainless steel components we're working through over the next couple of days. The XYZ 500 LR is our go to for jobs like this, especially when a medium batch comes in last minute, keeping each part consistent from first to last.

Once this order is complete, the customer knows every part will match and can go straight into use without any issues.

Time to crack on with the rest!

The first step on the shop floor is going to the design department.👏

All CNC programming is completed using CAD CAM software, helping reduce programming time and machine downtime, while keeping things consistent across different jobs.

We can work directly from customer drawings and models sent by email to [email protected] in formats including DXF, DWG, IGES, SLDPRT, STEP and PRT, and we’ll come back quickly with a quote.

Wrapping up another good month at GD Precision, with parts coming off the XYZ 500 LR looking and measuring up.

With an 8,000 rpm spindle and fast axis travel, the machine moves between cuts quickly while still holding tight tolerances, which is especially useful when both simple and more complex parts are running through it. That balance of speed and accuracy helps reduce downtime between jobs and keeps work moving through the shop.

Let’s keep that momentum going into May. 👊
