Rome with 5 kids wasn't exactly what I'd call relaxing...

There were crowds, heat, thousands of steps, and the constant challenge of keeping track of five boys in one of Europe's busiest cities.

But there were also moments we'll never forget.

Watching the boys stand inside the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, climbing the Spanish Steps (twice!) and seeing history come to life right in front of their eyes made every bit of exhaustion worth it.

It's rarely the destination that ruins a trip.

One thing I think people in Kent forget is just how easy Disneyland Paris is ✨🏰

Whether you travel by Eurostar, drive and hop on the ferry, or take the tunnel, it's one of the simplest family holidays to do from the South East.

No long-haul flights.
No jet lag.

One holiday… several destinations 🚢✨

There’s something pretty special about waking up somewhere new every morning 🌍

From city exploring to beach stops, ice creams, sea views and watching the kids jump in and out of different places — cruising definitely gives you variety.

We’ve just done a cruise as a family, and I’ll be sharing lots more honest thoughts, tips, what we loved (and what wasn’t quite for us 😅) over the next few weeks.

We are off to Rome for a few days followed by Mediterranean cruise, so socials might be a little quieter than usual.
