From 29th October, customers using the Red Group app will see a pop-up asking them to allow notifications. Simply tap “Allow” and make sure notifications are switched on in your phone settings to receive personalised travel alerts and disruption updates straight to your phone.

You asked, we listened! 🎟️📱

We’re pleased to say that 4-Weekly tickets for our X20 service are now available to buy through the Red Group App!

Until now, these 4-Weekly tickets have only been available to purchase on bus, so we know this is an update that plenty of you have been waiting for.

We’ve also introduced a brand new subscription option for these tickets. This means you can set up your 4-Weekly ticket as a subscription and have your next ticket purchased automatically - no need to remember to buy it manually each time.

Even better, choosing a subscription also gives you access to a discounted ticket price.

This is just the start: we’ll be rolling out the subscription feature to more of the tickets available through the Red Group App in the future.

X20 - from 3rd September 2026
Slight timing changes to early morning journeys between Thame and Thame & Haddenham Railway Station. These journeys will now also serve the Lord William Upper School stop.

MyBus Weekly Ticket Update – from 1 August 2026

To keep a popular and valued bus ticket scheme running for Oxfordshire, MyBus ticket prices will change to the following:

Adult Day - £8.50
Adult Weekly - £34
Young Person Day - £5.50
Young Person Weekly - £24

Affected by the weekly price change? Some operator own tickets may be cheaper for your journey - check with your local bus company for the best value.

From 1 August 2026, MyBus ticket prices will change to help ensure the long-term sustainability of this popular scheme and maintain the availability of a countywide ticket for passengers travelling with different bus operators.

From Sunday 12th July 2026, we'll be introducing a revised timetable on Service 4/4A serving Berryfields.

These changes have been made following customer feedback and are designed to improve the reliability of the service, helping to keep buses running more consistently and on time.

Please check the new timetable before you travel to ensure you're aware of any changes to your usual journey.
