Thank you Elizabeth, our special birthdays holiday was an amazing success. You have a beautiful home in a lovely setting. The family had a fabulous time. I have to say that the outside grounds, pool and kitchen were well used and enjoyed by everyone. An excellent place to stay 10/10 for everything!

We've recently updated our living room with brand-new sofas, creating an even more welcoming and comfortable space for our guests to relax and unwind.

Whether you're curling up with a good book, enjoying a family movie night, planning the next day's adventures, or simply taking a moment to put your feet up, our cosy living area is the perfect place to feel at home.

🍷 A little foodie secret … 🇫🇷✨

For a really special meal, we highly recommend L’Attanum, a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant offering creative, seasonal French cuisine using wonderful local ingredients.

Another exciting addition is Le Cheval Blanc, a lovely bistronomic restaurant in the heart of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, serving generous and creative seasonal dishes with a real focus on local produce and flavours.

Who else thinks discovering great restaurants is one of the best parts of a holiday?

This is our twentieth review on Airbnb and another great one!

A perfect and peaceful home for a large family vacation! There were 8 of us including 4 kids and there was more than enough room for us to socialise, but also get some space to ourselves when we needed it! 😂 The garden kitchen was a god send. A fridge and cooking facilities by the pool which made for great family dinners. The house is rustic classical French accommodation which we loved. A little rural, but the local swimming lake and restaurant were well attended by us. A car is a must as there is lots to explore locally. Our hosts were extremely helpful giving us recommendations for places to visit that we could reach both by car and train. A very hot but extremely enjoyable visit to France… thank you Grant and Elizabeth!

We were lucky enough to have a massage by Îl'aina in our very own apartment when we were at Cinquante Cinq - a holiday rental in France It was an extremely relaxing experience and a wonderful full body massage. ✨ Looking back at a wonderful evening at the Thiviers Night Market in August! ✨

The town was buzzing with atmosphere, delicious local food, music and plenty of happy faces.
