We sleep 4, in two bedrooms and are dog friendly. Amazing views over the bay and the beach is just steps from the door. All 5* reviews. Sandend is a tiny historic fishing village and beach on the wonderful Aberdeenshire / Moray coast - beaches, surfing, fishing villages, castles, whisky and more. Matt Damon has just been filming his latest blockbuster (Odyssey) a mile along the headland from us!

Sandend has the fantastic Sea Biscuit Sauna back for the summer. Plus there is also Sauna at the Kings over in Cullen - two great northeast coast beach saunas right by us!

Literally right on the beach, with amazing views, you’ll have the chance to kick back and relax, or make the most of the Moray / Aberdeenshire area. Well equipped and comfortable, we sleep 4 and welcome 1 dog (maybe 2, please ask). All 5* reviews from over 8 years of hosting.

Glorious day today. Sun is out and surf is up. We’ve spent the last few days sprucing up the outside spaces ready for the sunny season - grass banks strimmed, outdoor furniture out and painted, lick of paint for the walls and the shed. ☀️🌊 🏄 ❤️

We’re open for 2025 🏄‍♀️🌊☀️

Surf lessons start this weekend at Sandend, with an intermediate class on this Saturday at 10am then a beginner lesson on Sunday at 10am. We’ve then daily lessons running through the holidays including a kids surf camp.
Hires and standup paddleboard lessons are also available.

Sandend Beach in winter is magical - this week’s lovely guests have sent me some great pictures taken early this morning. 🌅

January and early February is pretty booked up (although still a couple of short stay possibilities) but we still have good late February and early March availability. 3 nights to unwind and relax start from £345 for direct bookings.

Beach Cottage is on the Moray Coast, literally right on the beach with great views. Open fire, well insulated and all 5* reviews. Sleeps 4, 1 dog welcome (maybe 2 - please ask).
