💛 Something I’ve been thinking about this week…

I live in one of the most beautiful places in England.

I have two incredible boys who worked a cashless bar at a beer festival last weekend in the middle of their GCSEs.

I help people plan trips that become their favourite memories.

And I get to do all of this from Devon.

Life isn’t perfect. It’s busy and sometimes chaotic and occasionally I’m stress-blending smoothies at 6am.

But it’s MINE. And I wouldn’t swap it for anything.

💛 What a weekend.

The Ilfracombe Round Table’s Beer and Music Festival was absolutely everything and then some.

Thousands of pounds raised for local charities. Incredible bands. A community that showed up in the most brilliant way. And a barrel with my name on it that I am still smiling about.

But honestly? The thing that made my heart fullest this weekend wasn’t the barrel.

It was watching my boys working the cashless bar. Selling beer tokens, handling money, dealing with queues, showing up shift after shift with a smile on their faces.

In the middle of their GCSEs.

I could not be more proud of them if I tried.

To everyone who came, who supported, who raised a glass, thank you. This is why I love living where I live. 🧡

And if you’re one of the lovely people who booked a holiday with me this weekend and quoted “BEER”. Good things are coming. 🌍
