This week marks ten years since Jules started In & Beyond Bath (Happy 10th birthday to us! 🎂 🥳)

Before In & Beyond Bath, Jules spent three years setting up schools in Zambia. Teaching abroad had given him real freedom to engage, inspire, and connect. But he needed to figure out what came next…
So he made three lists: passions, skills, the kind of working environment he wanted. What came out: a tour company sharing the England he cherished, and knew most people didn’t get to see while travelling.
“I started from a spare bedroom in 2016. By 2019, we had to make the business insolvent. In 2020, COVID shut us down completely.”
We rebuilt differently.
→ William joined through a government scheme in 2021 and hasn’t left.
→ Ariane brought the systems and structure we desperately needed.
→ A group of exceptional, local guides who shared the same passion as Jules.
→ Today, we’re fifteen people who deeply care about every guest who books with us.
What Jules is proudest of isn’t the awards. It’s the guests who cry in medieval churches. The retired teacher who said we gave her the highlight of her entire life. The team who’ve become friends.
