Hembury Mill in Askerswell is certainly one of the most characterful cottage I have photographed, complete with water wheel inside the cottage (behind glass!) and outside. Lovely outside garden space as well.

Very happy that my Golden Cliffs found a very good home at Melplash Show in West Bay today, a view from a bath...
(90 x 60 cm, on aluminium so can go in a bathroom, even outside though I have not tried that!).

Relaxing colours, thoughts of warmth and Summer.
Yet these are cliffs we are looking at, in their stunning majesty, and their underlying threat.
Giant masters of the beach that cannot be controlled by man. We love them for their seemingly strong yet frail beauty, loathe them if they tempted a loved one irremediably, study them for the millennia they share with the sea, and for all to admire, if they so wish.
There only remains respect for nature.

If you're in Bridport, Pickled Ginger is a lovely restaurant hiding behind the scaffoldings (where Lula used to be). Worth a visit.

Chef Chris loves fish, and most of the meals are gluten free (working on 100% with a new batter for the fish and chips).

As always, fun to photograph food, and kitchen in action!
