I posted yesterday about Elizabeth Frink and her flying figures which were on the Ulster Bank in Shaftesbury Square since the 1960s and the article from the Belfast Telegraph June 1964 was about the opening of the bank and it says this bank also had a ladies air conditioned lounge and a powder room up above!
if anyone is lucky enough to even have a branch of their bank open here (I don't) I'm they're doing well never mind having top class customer service like that they'll be doing well😆
If you want to hear how times have changed for women in other ways you can book a place on one of my walking tours here ⬇⬇⬇

Nice evening with this lovely lot who were guests of Queens University Belfast and booked me for a private walking tour around the area. It was super fun and gave me an opportunity to chat about the founders of the Riddel Building and a wee impromptu visit into Friars Bush.
It was a pleasure to have your company ❤
If you want to book me for a private tour for your group or organisation get in touch
I'm a freelance tour guide so my summer diary is filling up fast but email me [email protected]
