Folly Inn - Whippingham

I’ve lived on the island for three years and today was my first visit. I’m gutted I left it so long. My photos don’t do it justice, it’s a great pub right by the river. The outdoor area a lot bigger than my photo shows and the indoors is huge with smart decor (I loved the wallpaper in the ladies toilet).

Kids eat free over the Easter school holidays. Hunters chicken for me and chicken skewers for my son, both very good.

Only negative is the lane down to the pub is quite long and narrow in places.

If you’ve got a child who’d like a go on a digger then a visit to Robin Hill might be a good idea.
Having been closed for a while and now with new owners, the park is now open and with some new additions. I’m a big fan and will be making lots of use of our passes.
