2020: The year that wasn't...

Those of us who have remained well and have not been too badly affected should be very grateful. For those of you who have suffered ill health, lost loved ones or struggled in business you have our deepest sympathy.

Let’s look forward to a better year to come. A year in which we hope we can get back to enjoying our friends,family and the events we all love, and be thankful that we are able to.

Week 31. Many thanks to Vince from France, http://www.scuderiavince.com for the rapid response to my request for a Solex carb. It arrived in a standard unmolested condition, was overhauled and is now powering a modified Alvis 12 / 50 on its way to Italy.

Week 28. This week has provided me with the chance to get back to some good old cylinder head work, valve seat finishing blending and porting, hopefully you will know which ones the finished article!

Week 7 looking back to week 50 last year! Jaguar 3.8 Wide Angle with dry sump kit ,engine fresh off the dyno! Such a pleasure to work with new engine components and produce an engine fit for a stunning Lister Jaguar.

Week 47. Jaguar 3.8 Wide Angle D type engine progress. The first photo shows the quality of components I have the pleasure of working with.

The second photo shows both camshafts set where they will work best for this particular engine specification and customer. Once I have set the cam timing the build can progress quickly as all remaining components have already been trial fitted. look out for a dyno test, hopefully before the end of the year.
