Here at Essex Tyre Company Ltd we are proud to have become an authorised Bridgestone Tyre Dealer.
Bridgestone are a Japanese company established in 1931 that have become the worlds largest tyre manufacturer. They supply tyres to most vehicle manufacturers as original equipment.
Heavily involved in motor racing, they supplied Formula 1 from 1997-2010 notching up an incredible 165 wins.

DRIFTING TO A WORLD RECORD

Falken Drift team sets official Guinness World Record for fastest drifter at over 111mph and also wins the latest British Drift Championship round.
Falken Drift Team driver Lars Verbraeken has become a Guinness World Record holder after driving his 503ps BMW E30 on Falken tyres. The Dutchman set the new record achieving a speed of 111.59mph whilst keeping the car at a 45 degree angle for a distance of more than 50 metres!!
"I am delighted to hold the record as fastest drifter," said Lars Verbraeken. "Falken's high performance tyres helped me achieve total control of my BMW on track."

FALKEN OE NEWS
2012 has seen Falken make its debut into the european market, and who better than the manufacturer renowned for safety and quality, Volkswagen?
The Falken Sincera SN831 is fitted as original equipment onto Volkswagens city car, the UP! It has also been confirmed that Falken is to provide original equipment fitments to the VW Polo. Initially this will be for the Nordic countries where a winter tyre is required but we are sure there is more to follow.
The VW Group is now extending its collaboration with Falken Tyre Europe GmbH and fitting the SEAT Mii small car with Falken's all rounder the Sincera SN831 ECORUN, which is also now being fitted as original equipment to the SKODA Citigo.
As well as being exceptionally reliable, the Sincera offers good all-round properties, high milage, and very posotive enviromental properties.
