Istanbul 🇹🇷
Did not disappoint! A bucket list must do!
Had an idea made it into an itinerary & crafted my getaway.
Flew from Newcastle to London Heathrow, with an overnight stay at a T5 hotel with a pod directly from terminal to hotel. Then to Istanbul with BA as the flight prices were very reasonable.
Itinerary...
Segway Tour
Bosphorous Evening cruise , with entertainment & food.
Sultanhamet (Blue Mosque..free entrance)
Basilica
Hagia Sophia Mosque
Gulhane Gardens..(free entry)
Galataca Port area..v posh with good shopping.
Spice Market..(free entry)
Grand Bazaar..(free entry)
Historical Turkish Bath ❤️
Beautiful Architecture.
All mosques are free to enter but ladies MUST wear a headscarf.

Many, many steps.
Plenty of cake.
Great local food.
Very warm & friendly people.
Plenty of free things to see & do.
Made some everlasting memories.
