Considering the ongoing situation in the Middle East, and with uncertainty remaining around when full flight operations will resume, Operators believe it is both proactive and part of their duty of care to begin reviewing alternative arrangements for affected passengers due to return via this area.
As a precautionary measure, they are currently assessing and securing alternative options for passengers travelling inbound to the UK via the Middle East up to 𝟑𝟎 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲, some operators are past this date. Where necessary, this may involve arranging return flights to the UK on alternative carriers or via different routings, as close to the original travel dates as possible. These arrangements will be prioritised in date order, and their dedicated teams will be in touch to discuss possible alternatives, if you are booked via myself, I will be handling all of this on your behalf.
❗️If you have booked directly with airlines/companies you will need to keep in contact and monitor via their websites❗️
Operators kindly ask for your patience while this process is underway. Airspace restrictions and closures across the Middle East remain significant. While the UAE has opened a small number of tightly controlled routing corridors from Dubai and Abu Dhabi and we hope other carriers will follow soon, this currently allows for only a very limited number of flights to depart the region.
Also, FCDO advise against ALL, but necessary travel. You must also check insurance cover too.
Where bookings are affected, I will contact you directly to discuss the next steps. At this stage, no action is required unless you are contacted by myself.
Thank you all! 😘
