Sterck & Co. We are designers and wholesalers specialising in fair trade textile products for both home and travel. Our factory is SA8000 accredited.

Our customers comprise department stores, kitchen shops, garden centres, gift shops, mail order companies and online stores in the UK and abroad. Sterck & Co was established in 2002, although our connection with India where our products are made goes back more than twenty years. We are a fair trade company and, as far as we are aware, we are the only kitchen textile company in the UK that sources

in a profoundly ethical and fair way. This is an independently audited social accountability standard that guarantees, among other things, that there is no child or indentured labour involved in the manufacture of our textile products and that all workers have an entitlement to holiday and sickness benefits, as well as a high standard of pay and working conditions. We also regularly donate a percentage of our profits to the SOS Children’s Village in Cochin, which offers a home to orphaned and abandoned children. This excellent charity provides a home and family environment in which these kids can thrive and have a chance in life. We hope that you like what we sell and the way we go about doing it.
