Take the road from Lake Louise to Golden and you will pass through Yoho National Park in BC, Canada. Aside from the breathtaking Rocky Mountains and forests, there are some scenic viewing points along the way. Try Takakkaw Falls, a high chute of water cascading down the face of the mountain - it is reached by a scenic drive from the main trans Canada highway.

To fly my family back to London with an alternative airline is currently up to £8500 for 2 adults and a child in economy with one stop 😱😱😱 However, the alternative route I have planned gets us back to London in economy with one stop (overnight) for £2200 😁👍

Banff Trail Riders Chuck Wagon ride with cowboy cookout is a must-do experience for anyone wanting a horseback experience with a difference. You can choose to ride on the 1 hour Bow river route or take the wagon through pretty scenery at a leisurely pace. Steak orders are taken en route and food ready quickly at the under canopy open dining area with fire pit centre. There's even time to try your hand at lasso!

Staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The ride and experience cannot be recommended enough. If there's one thing to do in Banff (beyond the Banff Springs Hotel - see other video) then this is it.
