Holly Lodge has become available from Wednesday 20th - Saturday 30 August so, if you fancy a short break, a week or the whole 10 days, get in touch. The forecast is good and you could be sitting outside, sipping a drink, enjoying this view and watching the sunset. Dave take incredible photos while he is staying with us of Daisy and gets lovely sunsets, even got the northern lights! And now knows the red arrows arrival what a legend!

Trying to go out with the tractor to cut the thistles and Thomas is having none of it without him coming! Many of you will have had a visit to your lodge by Thomas and he jumps in visitors cars when they try to leave it’s our way of making you stay lol xx
10 mins waiting for him to shift and he has clearly settled in and is playing hardball!

The Pickled Chef at L***y Glaze

Yesterday evening Richard and I were joined by two of our very good friends (and long returning visitors!) Nathan and Sharon and we tried a new restaurant at Newquay on a little private beach called l***y glaze beach.
We booked on a night for food at The Pickled Chef when they had the north coast choir singing and a duo acoustic act and wow what a night!
The food for very tasty and the venue was decked out nicely, it’s on the beach and I highly recommend a visit especially on a “sundowner night” which is a music night. We booked for 5:30 so early and got a window seat looking at the sea and eventually gorgeous orange sky.
The mussels were delicious and my personal fave! Check out their menu online that’s what I did! Drinks are not cheap but you get what you pay for. £6 for Guinness I think and wine a bit more. Incredible table service, delicious food and a super atmosphere.
Word of warning - there are 121 steep steps down to get there! A harder climb after ordering oodles of seafood and eating way too much pudding like us 🥴 so not accessible to all but those that can we loved it!

A very happy belated birthday to Richard who is a super husband to me and a wonderful father to Holly and Max who are so lucky to have such a fun dad who somehow manages to split himself in a million directions to support us all here at Tregullon. We are all eternally grateful ### we are so incredibly proud of you xx all our love and looking forward to a family get together tonight to celebrate you ###

Thought you all might like to see us baling! I’m driving Richards homemade “megabob” a 5 metre haybob for rowing up mega rows! Richard Lewis is baling with our newest addition- the welger 💪 and our Richard is on the new 6 metre Tedder fluffy up the hay ahead of us 😊 making beautiful meadow hay bales in this gorgeous weather xx

I was trying to get a “nice” photo of max with the cattle but he has other plans 🤪 he also finds that one bullock on his wavelength lol. Typical boys v girls in photos lol!!
