✨ A little re‑introduction… and what really happens when you send me an enquiry 🤩 ✨
It’s been a while since I properly introduced myself, so hello again – I’m Paula, your personal Travel Counsellor, and I specialise in creating tailor‑made, stress‑free holidays that fit you and your life.
People are often surprised by how much goes on behind the scenes after they send me a message that starts with “We’re thinking about going to…” – so I thought I’d share a little of what actually happens.
When your enquiry lands in my inbox, I don’t just pull a price off a website. I:

Check weather patterns, flight options, connections and sensible routings
Look at different dates and durations to see where the value really is
Consider jet‑lag, transfer times and how the overall journey will feel
🏨 Hand‑pick the right accommodation
Shortlist hotels, villas or resorts that fit your brief and budget
Check room types properly – is there enough space, the right layout, a decent view, somewhere quiet enough to sleep?
Look at genuine recent feedback and my colleagues’ experiences, not just glossy pictures
🧩 Match the trip to your travel style
Think about who’s travelling: couples, families, older relatives, teens, solo travellers
Factor in the “non‑negotiables” you’ve told me about:
Room each, good vegetarian options, no huge crowds, accessible rooms, kids’ clubs, culture, walking, spa time…
Build in the right balance of rest and activity, so you don’t come home needing another holiday
💷 Do the value‑checking for you
Compare different airlines, routings and cabin classes
Test what happens if we move the dates by a day or two
Look at where half board, full board or all‑inclusive genuinely makes sense for you
🧾 Make sure it all hangs together
Check that flights, transfers, check‑in/out times and excursions actually line up
Ensure everything is financially protected and clearly costed
Present it in a way that’s simple to understand, with options you can genuinely compare
Only once I’m happy I’d book it for my own family or friends do I send it to you.
