Mouldy mastic?! ❌….. Is your bath silicone mouldy and lifting in places?! 🛁
You might not be able to see the damage but behind that bath panel the mastic leak could potentially be disguising black mould ‼️
A very small thing that can lead to major structual damages. ⚠️
We advised the landlord to contact their insurance company, and unfortunately for them this wasn’t covered.
Luckily for them we were able to fix this by removing the tiles, cutting out the mouldy plaster board with new and replacing with hygiene wall cladding, providing them a cost effective, long term solution. ✅
