Originally from Cape Town, he has already spent a winter season in the US and this year he’s bringing his “speed is everything, control is nothing” approach to Europe. (We’re assured that philosophy is strictly limited to the mountain and not the chalet kitchen.)

In La Rosière, Griffin will be helping create the friendly, family-like chalet atmosphere he was drawn to at Ski Beat - somewhere our guests can come back to, relax and share stories from the day.

It’s a combination Amelia knows well because she’s back with Ski Beat for another winter!
As one of our returning team members, Amelia already knows what makes a Ski Beat chalet tick: good food, good company and creating a relaxed place where our guests can put their feet up after a brilliant day on the slopes.

Lucy’s favourite thing about snowboarding? Charcuterie (snow)boards. 🧀🏂 We can already tell she’s going to fit in nicely around the dinner table.

Originally from Graskop in South Africa, Lucy already knows her way around an Alpine winter after spending the 2023/24 season in Tignes. This time you’ll find her in La Rosière, helping look after our Ski Beat guests and making the chalet a cosy place to return to after a day on the mountain.

And because every good chalet conversation needs an unexpected fact, here’s Lucy’s: she has two extra ribs.. We’ll leave you to ask her about that one over dinner… 😂
