One week since we crossed continents! 🏊‍♂️

This time last Sunday, swimmers were taking the plunge into the Dardanelles and setting off on the legendary Hellespont Swim from Europe to Asia.

Seven days later, we hope the post-swim buzz is still going strong, and that you’re feeling proud every time you think back to that finish line!

To everyone who took on Hellespont 2026: what an achievement! We hope it’s a swim you’ll remember for a very long time 💙

Anyone else still wishing they were back on the Dardanelles? 🏊

We can’t stop reminiscing about the Hellespont Swim last week: the buzz around Çanakkale, the nerves before the start, the legendary crossing, and all the celebrations that followed.

A huge thank you to our event partners, Swans UK, SwimTrek Swimming Holidays and Wilusa Tours, for helping bring another incredible Hellespont to life, and to every swimmer who made it such a memorable one.

The wait is over, the swimmers are in the water, and the Hellespont Swim 2026 is officially underway!

Today, swimmers from around the world are taking on the legendary crossing of the Dardanelles, swimming from Europe to Asia in one unforgettable challenge.

Good luck to everyone in the water - enjoy every stroke, soak up the atmosphere, and we’ll see you on the other side!

It was the day before race day… and it was all smiles in the race village! The swimmers were taken on a boat tour of the swim course, they have all checked in, they’ve got their timing chips and their race numbers - now for some sleep as we have an early start tomorrow!

After months of anticipation, swimmers from around the world are getting ready to take on one of open water swimming’s most iconic challenges: The Hellespont Swim.

Tomorrow, we’ll dive into the Dardanelles and make the legendary crossing from Europe to Asia.

The training is done, the excitement is building, and there’s just one more sleep to go.
