SUMMER FESTIVAL 2026
A range of interesting special shape balloons will be on display at this year’s summer festival weather permitting, from our friends at MJ Ballooning.
Based just a few miles down the road in Bristol, Matt and the team at MJ Ballooning now have 16 special shapes in their collection and will be bringing some to display in the ballooning arena.
Look out for the Miracle Man making his only event appearance this year. Weighing in at 408kg, he is the largest special shape balloon in the UK and was shipped over from the USA last year.
The team are also bringing their Maxwell House coffee jar to inflate beside the BBM&L’s identical jar for the first time ever. Others to look out for include the retro Philips light bulb, and Orange which will be flying in the evening ascent. And we can’t have a summer festival without a giant Cornetto ice cream, can we?
