🇺🇸ANDREW'S TRIP TO BOSTON🇺🇸

We flew from London Heathrow with British Airways on an Airbus A380 the worlds largest aircraft✈️
We stayed for 4 nights at the Revere Hotel a 4-star hotel in a good central location🏨 I travelled with My wife and my adult son.

While we were there we completed the famous freedom trail, which connect 16 historic sites Related to the American revolution for independence from Britain🗺️ We also visited the museum Of fine art👩‍🎨 and the JFK museum, both very interesting. The museum of fine art featured an exhibition on Vincent Van Gough, and in the JFK museum we watched Kennedy's
Ignoration from 1960.

We also had a boat trip around the historic Boston harbour, in lovely sunny weather☀️ Travel around Boston was very easy and we did use their subways🚊 also a lot of walking past famous sights🕵️

The locals were very friendly and we found the food pretty good eating out at different restaurants most nights😋 Boston has the largest population of Irish citizens out of any American city. We went into a couple of Irish Bars🍀

Boston weather, New England is a bit like old England changeable, we mostly had warm sunny weather🌞

Shopping varied, there were up market department stores, e.g Macy's and all tastes catered for there is also a Primark🛍️ Boston has lots of restaurants and coffee shops, also plenty of parkland Boston common being the most popular🌳

The Boston Red Sox were playing while we were there they won🏆Unfortunately we didn't realise beforehand and could get tickets🎟️

Overall I would say that a 4 or 5 nights break would be long enough and was a very fascinating city🤩

If you are thinking about doing Boston one day... DO IT😄

🙋‍♂️ Hi everyone, this is a quick summary of recent holiday to Venice. Venice is located in the north of the Adriatic Sea, features a great climate, rich in history and amazing architecture.

🌅🛶 My Favourite Parts of Venice 🛶🌅

🏨🧳🛎️ My accommodation throughout my trip in Venice was at the UNAHOTELS Ala Venezia, this accommodation features a fantastic central location, brilliant proximity to main attractions and points of interest. Friendly and accommodating staff who can't help enough for whatever you need. Traditional Italian styling, Bar and Breakfast Dining too.

🦐🍝🍕 One of my favourite restaurants to go to was the Ristorante La Nuova Perla. Located just on the east side of the Lagoon front, this restaurant has amazing views from the outside eating area, entertaining staff who make your dining experience memorable and well cooked food with a short waiting time, I would recommend their great selection of food to anyone.

🚤🚏🏺 Murano was an interesting place, catching the local boat over to the island, this island is world famous for it's Glass Work starting around the 15th & 16th Century. All different designs, colours and sizes are amazing to see, It is extremely fascinating to watch the process of the glass making and is well worth seeing whilst there.

⛪🏛️⛲ My favourite points of interest in Venice itself were Calle Contarini del Bovolo, a 15th century small palace that features an exterior spiral staircase with amazing views of the Venetian Skyline. Museo Correr is a fantastic museum that goes through the history of Venice, historical artifacts, amazing rooms and plenty of information. Finally all of the churches in Venice are attractions in themselves, amazing architecture and stunning mosaics/ artwork, one of my favourites was Chiesa della Madonna dell'Orto!

Here at the new Hays Travel Bromsgrove branch we are very sad over the recent collapse of Thomas Cook, the news has hit us particularly hard as we all worked at the Thomas Cook Bromsgrove branch.

We were delighted when Hays Travel offered us positions and an opportunity to continue to work together again as a team and provide you with amazing holidays and service.
