There’s one little question I ask every client when they enquire:

“How much are you looking to spend?” 👀

And honestly… sometimes you’d think I’d asked for their bank PIN! 😂🙈

I promise I’m NOT being rude, nosey or judging you and it’s definitely not a trick question!

I genuinely NEED to know your budget so I can do my job properly 🙏

And here’s why, with a couple of real-life examples from very recently…⬇️

💰 Tailor-made trip:
A new client wanted a multi-centre tailor made trip with “nice 4⭐️ hotels and as cheap as possible.”

I spent DAYS putting together different options, working around their requirements and sending 3 quotes.

The response?

“Sorry, they’re more than we were looking to spend.” 🤯

And I completely understood… but I still have no idea what their actual budget was! 🧐

💰 And the most common one…
“I just want something as cheap as possible.”

But here’s the thing…

Cheap means something completely different to everyone! 🙈

My idea of a “cheap” holiday is probably very different to someone who doesn’t spend their days looking at holidays, prices and travel deals! 😂

So the northern lights season for 2026 has officially started! 🤩✨🌌🇮🇸

This was taken and shared on one of the Iceland groups last night!!! And even more exciting, one month today I will heading out for a weekend of solo adventure myself!!
