Lovely review from one of my recent clients

What a wonderful cottage! Location, tick. Comfort of sofa and bed, tick. Shower, tick. Kitchen utensils, pots and pans, tick tick (the saucepans and glass dishes were so spotless I suspect they were new, and the oven was nice and clean). We did several lovely walks on the footpaths around the village and enjoyed sitting with a cuppa in the garden catching the afternoon sun. We Are already looking forward to booking a return visit

The Cromford Canal was last used as a working waterway in 1944. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its entire length from Cromford to Ambergate.

Dived in here when the heavens opened. Didnt leave for a couple of hours - they are a cross over between a coffee house and micro bar. Had a lovely sharing plate of chese - massive - so big had to take a doggy bag home. Totally recommend. They have live music nights. One for next time.

Went in to Bakewell early evening and discovered this place. It's a sort of micro bar. There are some great breweries in The Peak - my other half certainly enjoyed sampling their wares!

Been driving past the entrance way for the odd ten years and finally went in recently. Great find. Lovely cafe and gardens, dog friendly and you can walk along the railway paths
